7月24-25日，由中国汽车标准化研究院、吉利汽车研究院联合主办的“第十二届汽车被动安全技术及标准法规研讨会”在杭州成功召开。会议聚焦行业热点领域，对全球汽车安全整体形势、产业政策及标准法规趋势、智能约束系统、乘员平等性等话题进行了交流探讨。
伊狄达被动安全资深高级工程师Simona Roka受邀发表主旨演讲。她指出，利用虚拟测试和人体模型等有力工具可以解决目前尚未评估的安全场景，例如大倾角座椅、乘员离位和不同乘员体征保护。她在演讲中强调，要对这些新工具和方法进行验证，从而确保模型的可靠性。
Roka女士强调称，虽然中国和欧洲在死亡率上都呈现出下降趋势，但道路安全不止涉及死亡率，还关乎严重伤害率。此外，Roka女士还介绍了IDIADA正在协调参与的一个名为“IMPROVA”的新项目，该项目专注于对那些会造成长期后果的严重伤害进行分类。
